ABOUT THE MOVIE

Shrinks was shot over a weekend in a real working suite of doctors offices at Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan so it was critical that nothing was broken; we even used photographs to make sure the doctor's offices were left exactly as we found them.

There was also a huge worry about the drugs! In between setting up and breaking down the sets our producer Janna would take a quick loop around to make sure no one was dicing into the plethora of samples!

One of our crewmembers was an authentic germaphobe (allergic to all hospitals in general) and he was constantly washing his hands.

Of course there was a problem with one of our extras... Janna's number must have shown up on her husband's call log and she was pegged as the gal-pal, which took a little explaining…

Murphy's law kicked in when one of our associate producers had a little accident with the equipment truck, but all in all it was a successful shoot!
